Aluminum Window & Door Solutions for Canadian Projects

Discuss thermal targets, weather sealing, condensation risk and installation conditions alongside the applicable provincial or territorial code edition.

Prepare an RFQ

Fantancy House has supplied customers in Canada. We use that market experience to frame each enquiry, while confirming the selected system, documentation and local requirements for the individual project.

Project-specific review

Questions to resolve before specifying a system

These points help structure a conversation. They are not a code interpretation, product approval or compliance declaration.

01

Start with the authority having jurisdiction

The National Building Code is a model code. Provinces and territories adopt or adapt codes; confirm the locally enforced edition, amendments and permit requirements for the project.

02

Check the fenestration evidence

Where NAFS classification, test reports or other evidence is required, match the record to the exact product series, operating type, size, glazing and hardware. Do not infer compliance from a similar-looking sample.

03

Set thermal and condensation goals

Share the project climate, indoor conditions, glass preference, frame expectations and any specified U-factor or condensation criteria. Frame, glass, spacers, seals and installation all affect the assembly.

04

Coordinate the wall interface

Confirm sill support, flashing, air and water control layers, insulation continuity and installation responsibilities with the project designer or installer.

05

Plan the import and delivery

Include destination, access, crate dimensions, unloading equipment and site storage requirements in the shipment review.

Send the location, schedule and performance brief

Market and code references do not confirm product compliance. Share the exact destination, opening list, drawings, glass and hardware requirements so the selected configuration can be reviewed.
